Assistance Dogs International, Inc.

Regional Chapters

ADI encourages programs in different regions of the world to come together to form regional Chapters. ADI believes that some issues that affect assistance dog programs are best dealt with internationally (e.g. standards and ethics, accreditation) whilst other issues inevitably have a strong regional focus (e.g. access rights for assistance dog owners). ADI formally recognizes regional chapters that have at least five member programs in the region. At present, there are three formally recognized Chapters: Europe, North America and Australia/New Zealand. It is hoped that in the coming years, there will be two further Chapters in Asia and Latin America. To find out more about the activities of each region please go to the relevant web page.
